Battery life varies by model. Our 7-LED reading light provides up to 32 hours at low brightness with its 1000mAh battery. The amber book lights (500mAh or 1000mAh) provide up to 80 hours at the lowest brightness setting. All models charge via USB-C for fast, convenient top-ups.
Our amber light mode blocks 99.95% of the harmful blue light spectrum — the short-wavelength light associated with eye strain and disrupted sleep. Most VAVOFO products use USB-C charging, compatible with modern chargers including wall adapters, laptops, power banks, and car chargers. The charging cable is included with every product. Typical charge time is 2–4 hours depending on battery capacity.
VAVOFO lights have a built-in low battery indicator. When the battery is running low, a red indicator light flashes every 4 seconds during use — this is your signal to charge. Our 7-LED reading light also features a 4-light power indicator that shows exact battery level on demand by pressing the switch on the base.
